You want to pick my brain. Here's how to do it properly.
With a fully booked coaching practice, I don't do coffee chats anymore.
This is what I do instead — a complete mentoring experience where everything I've learnt building my own practice from scratch gets distilled into your specific situation, with a follow-up to make sure it sticks. Why this exists…
A few times a month, someone messages me.
They want a coffee chat. They want to "pick my brain." They're thinking about leaving their job, or they're about to sign up for coach training, or they've started something and hit a wall — and they want to talk to someone who's been through it."I just want an hour with someone who's actually done it."I get it. I really do. But I've learnt that my time and energy are the most valuable things I have — and I want to use them intentionally. Which means: if you want my honest input, my genuine attention, and the benefit of everything I've figured out (and got wrong along the way), there's a way to get that. This is it.What to expect
Two sessions.
Proper preparation.
No time wasted.
This isn't a vague conversation where we'll both leave feeling like we talked a lot but didn't really land anywhere. Here's exactly what happens:1. You book and pay — You choose a time that works and complete payment via Calendly. 2. You receive a detailed questionnaire — Sent automatically right after booking, so you have plenty of time to fill it in thoughtfully before our session.3. You complete the questionnaire — This is where you tell me everything: where you are, where you want to go, what's blocking you, and what you most need from our time together. The more honest you are here, the more useful I can be.4. I review it and prepare — Before we speak, I read through everything you've shared and think carefully about your specific situation. I show up to our session having already done the groundwork — not hearing your story for the first time.5. We have our first 50-minute 1:1 session — Your questions, my honest answers. Practical, direct, and built entirely around what you're navigating.6. You receive your homework — After our session, I send you a focused set of actions tailored to what we covered. The momentum doesn't stop when the call does.7. You go away and do the work — This is the part that matters most. You implement, experiment, and find out what comes up when you're actually in it.8. We reconnect for your follow-up session within 3 months — New obstacles have surfaced. New questions have emerged. This is where we tackle them together, adjust the direction if needed, and make sure you don't quietly shelve the whole thing because one thing got hard.Important: the questionnaire needs to be completed at least 48 hours before our session. If it hasn't arrived by then, we'll need to reschedule — our time together is too valuable to use for catching up on the basics."Instead of starting from square one, I felt like I was having conversations with someone who was already a few steps ahead, which allowed us to make real progress in every session."

You're in the right place if…
You're seriously considering leaving employment to start a coaching practice or service-based business — and you want to understand what that actually looks like before you leapYou're about to invest in coach training and want to understand the business side of things first (because the training doesn’t cover it)You've already started something but feel stuck — on pricing, positioning, getting clients, or whether you're building the right thing at allYou're an introvert, HSP, or neurodivergent person who wants to build something that genuinely works for you — not a blueprint designed for extrovertsYou want honest, specific input — not generic encouragement or a pep talk
"Coaching sessions made me realise that I needed a job that suits my personality and gives me the flexibility to invest time in building a life coaching business."
— Tasha (Transformational Life Coach)
Why me
I've built the thing you're trying to build.
I spent years working in corporate, venture capital, and tech startups. I have a Master's in Business and a Bachelor's in Management. None of that is what taught me how to run my own practice. What taught me was doing it. And what I discovered — genuinely, not as a sales pitch — is that building a lifestyle business has changed everything about how I work and live.I wrote honestly about:"Together with Karolina, we identified my fears and found a way to deal with them. I managed to define what I care about and what I want to do — in harmony with me, without unnecessary comparison."
— Sabina (Voice Coach)
What "on your own terms" actually looks like:
You set your own hours — I start work when it suits me, not when a commute demands itYou choose who you work with — every single client I take on is someone I genuinely want to helpYou can work from anywhere — I've taken calls from different cities, different countries, and yes, occasionally from a parkThere is no office politics, no performance review from someone who doesn't understand your work, no having to justify your ideas upwardThere's no annoying boss — the hardest part is that the accountability is entirely yours, but honestly? That's also the best partYour income is directly tied to the value you create, not to someone else's budget cycleYou can build something that reflects your actual values — not the values of a company you happened to join
Is it all sunshine? No. It takes time to build, it requires real discipline, and there are weeks where the uncertainty is genuinely uncomfortable. I'll tell you about those too.But I work with 150+ clients and have logged 800+ coaching hours. I'm a Senior Practitioner with EMCC and an Associate Certified Coach with ICF. And more relevant to you: I left the conventional path, built something from scratch as an introverted person, and it works — in a way that genuinely fits my life.I'm not here to tell you it's easy or that you just need to "back yourself."I'm here to tell you what I actually know — including the parts that are harder than people admit.Every session is different. Here's the territory we MIGHT cover:
How to prepare yourself for the transition from employment to self-employment (financial runway, training, networking, marketing, etc)Whether your idea is actually viable — and how to pressure-test it before you quit your jobHow to price your services (and why most people undercharge)How to position yourself so the right clients find you — and the wrong ones self-select outGetting your first clients without a huge audience or an awkward sales processWhether you need a website, a niche, a social media presence — and what actually matters early onWhat coach training is actually worth doing, and what to look forHow to structure your offer and your time so the business doesn't eat your lifeBuilding a practice as an introvert — what to lean into, what to ignore, what conventional advice to bin
Don't see your question here? Message me and I’ll let you know if I can help with that."Karolina helped me gain confidence in myself and build practical strategies — this ultimately helped me secure more consistent freelancing gigs that suited my unique needs."
— Rosie (Freelance Writer)
This is not for you if..
You're in very early "just daydreaming" territory — do some reading, come back when you have real questionsYou're not ready to hear direct feedback (I'm kind about it, but I won't be vague)You want ongoing support over months — that's what Quietly Confident is forYou think one session will do all the work for you
Honest disclaimer
"I was concerned that without a plan or a clear idea of myself, we wouldn't get far — but those sessions convinced me that was exactly what I needed."
